I started with the idea of the blog around late 2024, I think? For a while, it was just an idea in my head. At first, the idea was “make a data plot every week”. Then I figured maybe “Plot of the Month” was more doable. Knowing my ADHD-like ability to start something and not finish it, I thought to myself I would only ever publish anything once I already had 5 posts done.

It was only November 2025 that I actually decided to give it a go. By then I had only made one figure, with half an article written for it. That figure was made January 2025, and the text was from April. Maybe “A Plot A Year” could be a thing?
Preparing the posts was pretty fun. If you see this, something has gone wrong with me and I actually hit that 5 posts milestone. This is me pulling the trigger.
Will there ever be more posts? In another year, month, or week? How long before my attention goes elsewhere? Who knows… I’ve got no expectations. I am just enjoying the very limited and scattered free time I have to work on this project right now.
